Company history
This company was born, thanks to three partners, who after more than 40 years of experience in leather, decided to put their knowledge to good use, and thus become the collaborators of the biggest brands related to woolen skins, and leather.
- December 17, 2008: Creation of the DHD company, whose activity is the purchase and marketing of leather, woolen skin, fur and synthetic materials.
The announcement appeared on December 26, 2008, in the legal newspaper La Montagne Noire. On January 13, 2009, the company was registered in the trade and companies register.
Quality charter
We select the skins in order to have the most exquisite quality. After having rigorously selected them, we pass them to tanning, for the slippers, it is a 100% vegetable tanning, with sawdust, which ensures a 100% biodegradable skin. For gloves, a percentage of chlorine is added during tanning, which does not exceed 5%.
After that, the skins are dried to white, then worked in velvet skin, before being tinted, re-dried, and reworked.
This tanning stage completed, the skins will be cut in the press according to their use, then assembled by hand.
